1977 In Brave Company booklet by W.R. Chorley and R.N. Benwell
1977 In Brave Company booklet by W.R. Chorley and R.N. Benwell Robert Steward ran the Aeronautical Museum at the Oshawa Airport. He had collected an amazing display of wartime aviation and other items. Many parts and equipment from WW II bombers and fighter planes, electronics, signed prints, models, books and much much more. This was a museum worth visiting but when he died no one stepped in to continue this rare exhibit of wartime memorabilia. The City of Oshawa passed on this yet spent a large amount of money on the miniature village from defunct Cullen Gardens and have probably given that away since they had no idea what to do with it. His family auctioned off his entire museum assets after his death at a fraction of their worth.
